Florida Sues TikTok Over Alleged Violations of Child Safety Law

Kiichiro Sato/AP PhotoFlorida Attorney General James Uthmeier has filed suit against the social media platform TikTok, alleging violation of state law.The complaint, filed on June 15 in St. Lucie County, accuses TikTok of violating Florida’s 2024 law, House Bill 3, that restricts minors’ access to some social platforms.
