Home Prices Fall in More Than Half of Major Metro Markets: Case-Shiller

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images/TNSThe housing slowdown has broadened in the United States, with more than half of major metropolitan markets recording year-over-year price declines in February, according to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Home Price Indices.The national housing price index rose 0.7 percent year over year in February, down from 0.8 percent in January, according to the indices published on April 28.
