CVS Caremark Reaches Settlement With FTC in Insulin Pricing Case

Mario Tama/Getty Images3/24/2026|Updated: 3/24/2026CVS Health’s Caremark has reached a settlement with the federal government in a lawsuit over insulin pricing, the latest of the “Big Three” prescription drug middlemen to strike such a deal.In a joint motion filed on Monday, CVS and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said they are seeking to remove the pharmacy company’s subsidiaries—prescription drug benefit manager Caremark and group purchasing organization Zinc—from the case while federal regulators finalize the settlement.
