FedEx Rolls Out Same-Day Delivery Service

Justin Sullivan/Getty ImagesFedEx has launched a same-day delivery service as shipping and retail companies race to offer faster fulfillment to customers who increasingly expect orders to arrive within hours, not days.The new offering, dubbed FedEx SameDay Local, will allow shoppers to choose either two-hour or end-of-day delivery directly at checkout, the company said on March 24.
