Iranian Leader, Top Officials Killed in USIsraeli Strikes: What to Know

Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and other high ranking military figures were killed in U.S.–Israel airstrikes on Iran. U.S. and Israeli authorities said Feb. 28. Iranian state media later confirmed the death.Operation Epic Fury strikes began at 1:15 a.m. ET, and President Donald Trump has said “pinpoint” bombings will continue through the coming week, or longer.
