U.S. Southern Command/Screenshot via The Epoch TimesU.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) struck three drug-smuggling boats Tuesday, killing three people and causing the remaining alleged narco-terrorists to abandon their vessels, prompting a search and rescue, the agency said Wednesday in a post on X.It’s the latest in a wave of strikes in recent months against drug boats in the Pacific and Caribbean, part of Operation Southern Spear. In the Tuesday strike, SOUTHCOM said the three vessels were operated by designated terrorist organizations, acting as a convoy along known trafficking routes in international waters.
