Scott Morgan/ReutersWarren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway reached a new record of $381.7 billion in cash and short-term investments, according to a third-quarter financial report released on Nov. 1.The conglomerate’s latest quarterly report, filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated that it ended the third quarter with over $76 billion in cash and cash equivalents, as well as $305 billion in short-term investments in U.S. Treasury Bills.
