French Prime Minister Resigns, Hours After Naming New Government

French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has resigned after less than a month in office, the French presidency said on Oct. 6.

The announcement came a day after Lecornu, a former defense minister, put together a new government and named Roland Lescure as finance minister.
