US Job Growth Overstated by 911,000 Through March 2025

Employment growth was revised lower through March 2025, indicating a weaker labor market that began before President Donald Trump’s trade agenda.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ national benchmark revision report, job growth was overstated by 911,000 from April 2024 to March 2025.
